Who we are
Trade Science Inc. is an international company with two core businesses: physical energy trading and structured finance.
ESTABLISHED 2019 · ENERGY TRADING · STRUCTURED FINANCE
In energy, we connect defined buyer requirements with verified supply and, where the structure calls for it, buy and resell the product as principal. In structured finance, we build financing around commercial transactions, assets and identifiable cash flows.
Our story
Established in 2019
Trade Science began in supply chain finance: extended payment terms and invoice-level credit insurance, delivered through its Jarvis platform.
That work put the company between producers, buyers and banks, and led it into physical energy transactions. Today the two businesses are distinct in expertise and complementary wherever physical trade, financing, risk allocation and execution meet.
Our approach
Transaction by transaction
We start from the underlying transaction, not from a product or a financing template: the commercial requirement, the counterparties, the economics and the principal execution risks.
Not every opportunity becomes a transaction. Counterparty verification, commercial viability and executable terms come first.
How we work
Verification before execution
We verify corporate identity and, where applicable, run know-your-customer (KYC), anti-money-laundering (AML) and sanctions screening. Claims about product availability, authority, documentation and financial capability are checked against independent sources.
We hold ourselves to the same standard: counterparties can see who we are, who leads the company and how to verify what we tell them.
